Eligible students may receive this scholarship only once throughout their entire course of study.
Students who qualify for multiple support policies may receive only the highest-value benefit. Likewise, students enrolled in multiple institutions or programs may receive the scholarship from only one institution.
Students who are eligible for preferential allowances, social assistance, or merit scholarships may still receive these scholarships for university students in accordance with applicable regulations.
Students who are expelled or suspended from their studies are no longer eligible from the effective date of the disciplinary decision.
Scholarships are granted for 12 months per year and cannot exceed the maximum duration of the academic program. Final-year students receive scholarships only for the actual months of study.
Students at ethnic minority boarding schools or university preparatory schools who repeat a grade remain eligible during their first repeat year.
For credit-based programs, scholarship duration is calculated based on the equivalent training period. For annual programs, scholarship calculations follow the formula specified in Decree No. 84/2020/ND-CP.
Students pursuing a second degree, distance learning, or work-study programs are not eligible for these policy-based scholarships for university students.
